Baby Peanut Shower

It is said that we nickname the things that we love the most. Well it is easy to see that there is a whole lotta love for this little peanut. Baby Parker got her nickname after her parents saw her first photo, from the womb that is, she was no bigger than the size of a peanut. For the weeks leading up to finding out what they were having, mom and dad referred to their first born as “the peanut”. It stuck, so here we are a few months down the road celebrating the little peanut’s Peanut {themed} Baby Shower. Love it!

Grandma and auntie-to-be wasted no time in putting together the details for this event; Cute ideas that would give Pinterest and Etsy a run for their money. I won’t take any more of your time explaining, the photos will do enough talking themselves!

The desserts were so much fun and probably one of my favorite cookie collections that I have made to date! Mom-to-be is gluten intolerant. Because she is a frequent customer of mine, I began a mission to search for the most delicious gluten free recipe out there. With much trial and error, I am proud to announce that I have developed a seriously amazing gluten free recipe that is versatile and oh-so scrumptious. You couldn’t even tell the difference!  I made gf pumpkin spice cake and banana cake, for the season. I think we were able to make the guests and mommy-to-be happy with this sugary spread.

Special thanks and kudos to my sister-in-law who is an amazing floral arranger, the centerpieces really pulled the whole look together, don’t ya think?
