A Boating Birthday Bash

Lift the anchors we are setting sail for a very special birthday bash honoring a little miracle. Baby Parker’s first year of life was filled with much trial and prayer. Hours after she was born, Parker’s parents discovered that their little girl had trouble breathing on her own. She would have to learn to breath through a trach. As you can only imagine caring for a little child with any physical abnormality can be filled with frustration and fear. However, Parker was born into a family who not only cares deeply for her, but they have tremendous trust and faith in a God that heals and provides. For the first year, the family has been strong and encouraged by the Creator of the universe who loves them deeper than the oceans.

This preppy nautical party is darling but there is far deeper meaning. The family chose the anchors based on a verse in the Bible that they have used as a comfort through trying times. Hebrews 6:18-19, “we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us. We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul…”

This theme is incredibly cute but so much more special knowing the thought behind the theme makes it just that more special. Here is to baby Parker and many more birthdays to come! Blessings.
