For this featured cake, we are heading to the country—no really. When I took the order for this cake, I didn’t realize that not only was the cake country themed, but I would actually be heading out to the boonies when I delivered it. Fifteen miles down a winding country road, no cell service; just me, my sister and the cake.
In between the middle of nowhere and lost, we spotted a ribboned wedding sign which led to a somewhat abanoned dirt road—awesome! To our surprise, the road led to a quaint reception and ceremony site, perfect for an intimate country wedding.
I love how the bride incorporate farm elements into her wedding, milk churns for flowers and cow bells for favors.
Now to my favorite part, the cake. Only seemed fitting to have rope and a cowboy/cowgirl topper on this one.
Until next time, happy trails!
